Presence during RAGBRAI in Jefferson (Organizing)
The RAGBRAI bicycle race is stopping in Jefferson on Monday the 21st and the Obama campaign is looking for a few volunteers to walk around and talk to folks, identifying new Obama supporters and pushing Vote-by-Mail requests. There is a politically-themed activity happening on the courthouse square called "Caucus Corner," where speakers are scheduled, and that is where we will be situated. The crowd coming in to Jefferson will be huge, and it will be a great opportunity to broaden our base of support.
