Iowa Poll: Obama Strongest General Election Candidate

In a new SurveyUSA Election Poll of Iowans sponsored by KAAL-TV Rochester-Mason City-Austin, Barack Obama will fare significantly better than Hillary Clinton in the general election. Obama easily beats all of his Republican opponents (with 50% or more against each of them), while Clinton's margin is significantly slimmer against Giuliani, Romney, and Huckabee, and she even loses to McCain.

Details from the poll:

Obama leads...

* Giuliani by 13 points
* Romney by 14 points
* Huckabee by 21 points (no track; this is the first time we've run that pairing)
* McCain by 8 points

Still ahead in Iowa in most matchups, but by smaller and, over time, narrowing margins, is Hillary Clinton. Today, Clinton leads...

Giuliani by 4 points. (1/3 of Obama's lead)

Romney by 6 points. (1/2 of Obama's lead)

Huckabee by 6 points (1/3 of Obama's lead)

...but trails McCain by 4 points.

Barack Obama for President

I have gone through this long pre-primary season with a deaf ear and only one preconception: Anyone but Hilary.

I have always voted for the Republican candidate. Reagan, Reagan again, Bush, Bush again, Bob Dole, Bush, and Bush again.

I am truly worried about our country. Washington is so poisoned that it cannot accomplish the simplest of tasks. The two parties are spending all of their energy hating each other. Nothing is getting done and we are going further into debt, soiling our environment, wasting things that are valuable to us and headed into what I think will rival the Great Depression.

There is bright spot on the horizon. Barack Obama.

Did anybody notice during the debate when Hillary referred to the GOP as the "enemy"? I know we want the Dems to win, but isn't that a bit hostile? Enough with the hate and anger! We need someone like Barack to pull this country together or we'll get NOTHING done again!

the first time i said aloud that I support Barack Obama, my friend asked why.

I said, "He is the first leader to follow the principles set out in Stephen Covey's book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." Now that I know the man better, i am truly convinced.

Republican here. It's too late in NY to switch parties for the primary, but I think in other saner states it should still be possible. You guys have to give me the chance to vote for Obama in the general election!

The Oct. 12 deadline was for the recent local elections in NY. You can switch parties up until 25 days before the Feb 5th primary.

I went to the NYS website and this was the info that they had:

How do I change my enrollment?
If you wish to change your enrollment from one party to another or from not-enrolled to a party, send a Voter Registration Form with your new choice to your county board of elections. The board will notify you when the change takes place, by Law, after the next general election.

So, I think that 25 day rule only applies if you are a newly registered voter. But hey, it's worth a try anyway!!!

Could "general" just refer to statewide? Perhaps because there are so many city/county elections?

Otherwise I would think they would say "Presidential" election. It would also be very strange if a person had to have to wait 3-4 years before changing parties....

Yes, I think it is definitely worth asking, just in case.

Hi Patty:
The form that we have in Maryland looks identical to the one used in NY (except, of course, it says Maryland).

In Maryland, a party change is treated the same way as a new registration, and it has the same deadline (25 days before the election).

I hope that Howard is able to see this, print out the form from this link, and mail it in.

ATTENTION MARYLANDERS: The deadline to switch party affiliation for the Maryland Primary Election is MONDAY, November 19th. I know because I persuaded my wife to switch from unaffiliated to Democrat in order to vote for Barack Obama in the February 12th Primary Election.

Any Iowans out there who want to caucus for Barack; You can show up Jan 3 to the caucus site in your precinct (I think it's 6:30 everywhere) You can be registered independant or Republican or whatever as long as you're registered to vote and you can just change your registration at the table by the door to Democrat and participate in the caucus. You can stay Democrat or just change your registration again the next day. Come caucus for Barack! Drag everyone you know who will stand and be counted for him. Cajole beg and drag them and get there yourself. Iowa can make it all happen.

God bless you! Iowans should do it all. The media are not with us and basically "we are on our own".
The media constantly take sentences out of context, they cut speeches in to peaces to create controversy, they don't educate people about policies and positions, they spin the facts so in general, THEY ARE NO HELP.

The Nevada Caucus allows the same as Iowa and goes a step further. You can register to vote on the day of the caucus. We've seen a large number of Republicans change their party to Democrat already and hope to see many more on caucus day showing up to caucus for Obama. Also, remember you can vote or caucus as long as you're age 18 prior to voting in November of 08.
Following the successful Las Vegas debate, we're all fired up and ready to go.

My condolences, my fellow disenfranchised voter, and welcome to the blog if this is your first time posting!

I keep ranting about this, but: I live in the NATION'S CAPITAL and I have no vote in Congress. I even live in the same neighborhood as the most powerful movers and shakers, for heaven's sake! That almost adds insult to injury.

Power and disenfranchisement are bedfellows in this crazy city; how many homeless black men in the South Capitol area have a view of the dome that slaves built? More than one can bear.

Who is the worst enemy of democracry? One's party or one's government? I suppose it doesn't matter, in the end, does it?

Here in DC we have the motto "TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION" on city license plates. You should have one custom-made saying something like your pseudonym :)

U know I think my problem is I've always taken my politcs seriously. Have been a registered Dem 32 yrs and just never thought my party would do such a thing. To not want grassroot votes to be counted in the process because of a week's difference in the date, when the voters had nothing to do with it. I've probably just been too naive/idealistic I suppose until now.

Sometimes I think there needs to be some modern day Boston Tea Parties in certain parts of the nation.

The situation in Florida should be declared unconstitutional by the courts because it is effective disenfranchisement.

And I know that DC is not a state but I am sure that our Founding Fathers never wanted 600,000 people to be disenfranchised like that. They could always declare us a state. God knows, we get taxed to the hilt as it is by the local government. We also get treated like a state for all intents and purposes.

And I say anyone appearing on that network gives it legitimacy and I support Obama's refusal to appear there. Remember they were the ones who reported that Barack went to a madrassa as a youth. CNN is clearly biased but they at least had the integrity to investigate and report the truth about that story. Fox is about as respectable as the National Enquirer. Their license should have been pulled ages ago.

BillO is a verbal abuser. It is not wise to for him to go onto the show of a confirmed racist, let him attack and twist, and then play edited clips of Barack saying the opposite of the truth (like the edited clips of the debate on the hannity show today).

The only person that a BillO appearance would help is BillO and his checkbook. A visit by Obama lends credibility to him, his show, and his abusive behavior.

Particular hosts are not respectful, confrontational, and prone to cutoff or demean their guests.

So is this worthy of precious time and effort? That is not journalism - it is entertainment based out of negativity.

I am waiting for him to appear on the charlie rose program as part of their presidential series. He was on there before. But really Charlie is a great interviewer. It really is his style that I like. I admit he does not push hard it is more of a conversation. He covers all kinds of people and topics.

But I do watch his show on Sunday AM. Chris has worked in politics before, he was not hired to be a straight journalist. He brings that with him.

Fox maybe, but NOT Bill O'Rielly. I have to strongly disagree there. O'Rielly will not show him any respect for being a presidential canidate. He might allow Obama to speak, but he will almost definitely show this contemptuousness that is just a part of his personality.

Some of the hard news fox journalists I believe are solid. But the commentators are to me just so partisan that it would not do him any good.

To be honest I think Obama should stay AWAY from partisan commentators on BOTH sides. We're trying to push a non-partisan united campaign that is about governing, not hype. So with that in mind I think Obama needs to focus on the hard news interviewers who although might ask tough questions (like Russert) will give him that air of legitimacy of being BEYOND traditional politics.

It's this path that I think will allow Obama to win (why myself an independent/moderate republican like him so much). I'm in AWE of this ability of Obama, and I think many others feel the same and more will do so in the future if we keep it this way.

Once Barack gets his message out, he's the strongest Democratic candidate. Barack has been in Iowa more than most other states, and his message there appears to be resonating very strongly with the electorate. If Barack wins the Democratic nomination, he'd be extremely strong in the general election. We need to ensure Barack wins the nomination.

I was wearing my Obama shirt at the big mall in Coralville Iowa today and I got a lot of smiles from people. I am goofy looking but these were friendly smiles and I got some of those nods, "right on!"

People who get it are definitely psyched about Barack. The barista at the coffee shop just jumped in and said she is a big supporter and "See you at the caucus."

My neighborhood has HOPE signs popping up in the yards. This thing is on. Hillary's got all the connections including it seems the producers at CNN and a good chunk of the Washington establishment and even our governor. But we've got the candidate. We have an obligation to win this thing.

But I DO think that HQ must issue a statement about this, because Hillary is saying that she is being attacked because she is ahead.

Ahead, but only in a manner of speaking.

David Plouffe or Bill Burton or David Azelrod MUST say something public about this. Get it into the mainstream, because far too many democrats still think that because Hillary has the biggest chance of winning the nomination she must be the most electable. Not so.

I wish I had a little bit of technological knownhow and time. What is also needed is to make a u tube video clip of what Chris Matthews said what she should have said after her bad performance in the previous debate i.e. instead of playing the gender card she should say "I was attacked because I am winning" He also had that "..as Harry Truman said....get out of the kitchen..." line and the whole nine yards. That needs to be shown next to her response yesterday and let the world see that she gets credit for PLAGIARIZING peoples lines and she has very little authenticity.

Athena why don't you help me find a gifted volunteer who can edit and bring this thing in the open?

The fear Clinton addresses in that question is the fear that Clinton would take us to war in Iran or keep our troops in Iraq.

I'm all for criticizing Hillary. Her words should hold no respect with the American people because it seldom represents truth. But we should criticize with accuracy for the sake of our integrity.

For example, a Richardson volunteer at UNLV yesterday told me that ALL the other candidates have insisted they will keep troops in Iraq until 2013. If that were true, it would be good, strong criticism. It is not. Our candidate wants troops out within 16 months of his entrance into the White House. The signs they had posted, "2013?" were referring only to Clinton, who said she could not bring out all troops until that time. It is our responsibility as volunteers to be as accurate as possible. The truth will set us free.

Has any significant news organization displayed these results? Matthews keeps showing the 27-25 narrow lead for Hillary in new Iowa poll, but I couldn't watch anymore.

Electibility and Uniting America are the key for Barack to win Iowa and NH. He must use these issues to win over the over age 45 voters. That's what people over 45 want. We aren't so idealistic as the 18-30 group.

Unlike the National polls among Democrats (which is a popularity contest), this Survey USA poll is very meaningful, because Iowans are the most informed about the candidates. How a candidate does against a Republican is much more accurate of their strength.

The Obama Campaign should make sure the whole country knows of these results. With Edwards fading, his support should be going to Barack.
We can thank Edwards and Hillary for that. If I was an Edwards supporter, I would despise Hillary right now.

The inevitability factor is probably the single biggest driver for Hillary in the polls (that and her husband), so that myth needs to be debunked.

Last night, Hillary had a good night at the debate at UNLV. She only showed how indecisive she is 2 or 3 times. She did manage to appear warm to the crowd, and answered the trite "Diamonds or Pearls?" question with a little wit -- "I like them both". Kind of how she is with her stance on most policy issues. Votes one way, then attempts to cover with "Turn up the Heat" rhetoric, claiming to be tough on the Republicans, yet what she is really saying is, "Can I have it both ways, please?"

The fact is, if Hillary becomes the nominee, the Dems will taste defeat again and we'll have at least four more years of a Republican presidency. And, because she energizes the Republican base so well, getting out the REPUBLICAN vote better than any of our other Dem candidates (or the Republicans themselves!), we'll likely lose the Senate and the House.

I elaborate more in my personal Blog, for those so inclined. Of course, this is an opinion but albeit, a reasonable one.

I have no doubt in the world that HQ and Barack will use this poll in the PR blitz..they publish here first before anywhere else..

I'm very struck by this poll..he breaks 50% where the Iowans know all the candidates the best..you gotta think it must give the DNC power players some pause..that their fears are coming to pass regarding Hillary's electability..it's one thing to be concerned about things but another to see actual data..

Glad others are seeing the significance. Everyone should keep writing how Obama can Unite America and is more Electable! That strategy works!

Also important in poll is that finally Edwards is left out of the poll, if I'm not mistaken.

This must become a 2 person race. Edward's supporters will go to Obama as long as Barack can convince voters he is Electable and can Unite America. There needs to be new signs, billboards, literature,etc. that uses those slogans, along with the Hope and Change slogans.

If Barack were to take lead in Iowa, it would silence all the talk about how good Hillary is doing right now. She would no longer be inevitable and even CNN would have to move to "neutrality" in the Obama vs Hillary contest. National polls would automatically get tighter with more Obama endorsements (possibly Gore) and $.

I'm sorry I don't have a link or anything. But I did hear this week on one of the shows that Iowans by a large margin are still saying Hillary is the more experienced. But it's reversed on likeabilty.

Also I happen to agree with Barack on the drivers licenses thing. But I did just hear someone from Politico just say on C-span that he thought that issue could help in NV but hurt in IA. A caller had said Hillary was movin down there which I do sense. And he was going with Obama or Edwards.

Iowans want Unity, New Leadership and to win in 08.
Barack should repeat these aspects as often as possible. Leadership nullifies experience, especially if Barack starts saying that he is going to have very experienced and honest people in his administration.
I haven't heard Barack say why he is a better Leader. To me, a leader gets people to listen to what you are saying and to successfully influence their thinking. Barack does this everytime he speaks before his huge crowds. Barack Leads. Hillary can only attack Bush too get applause. There is no enthusiasm for Hillary other than just because she is a woman.

Maria Luisa, the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred "diamonds or pearls" at last night's debate wrote on her MySpace page this morning that CNN forced her to ask the frilly question instead of a pre-approved query about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository.

"Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN," Luisa writes. "I was asked to submit questions including "lighthearted/fun" questions. I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me. I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. For sure, I thought I would get to ask the Yucca question that was APPROVED by CNN days in advance."

Now, Luisa is getting "swamped" with critical e-mails.

So what happened?

Writes Luisa:

"CNN ran out of time and used me to "close" the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, "you gave our school a bad reputation.' Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That's what the media does. See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That's politics; that's reality. So, if you want to read about real issues important to America--and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question."

Rivals to Clinton believe that the debate audience had a pro-Clinton tilt. UNLV was responsible for distributing most of the tickets.

What do we expect from the MSM? Time and again they have abdicated their responsibility to report the truth in favor of reporting spin and tabloids. Looks like they're up to their tricks again by pushing Hillary down our throats. I hope that Sen Obama takes a principled stance and withdraws from these debates and focuses on his grassroots efforts. I think the worst representatives of the MSM are the cable networks and of those, CNN comes a very close second to FOX.

I stay away from watching them on television, but I find ABC News's website much more balanced than CNNs. They also have some good features.

However, ALL of Old Media has deteriorated. Journalists are simply gullible these days. And they are too close to their sources. There are certain standards of independence that seem to have deteriorated. Maybe I am wrong about that, but it is the impression one gets.

Dear Obama Supporters:

There is a newly published book I'm eager to obtain and read, "The Squandering of America" by Robert Kuttner, Alfred Knopf Publisher, a division of Random House.

If there is anyone on our Community Blog who has read this dynamic treatise on what has happened to our country and why, plus what can be done in the way of correcting it -- particularly since the author's remedies prescribe much along the very lines of everything Senator Obama is and has proposed -- please let me know.

It is my understanding that Dr. Kuttner is one of the founders of "American Prospect" magazine and from time to time writes for the Boston Globe.

The reviews of this new book, just released this week, are outstanding. From what I can gather it excoriates the Bush administration and takes to task those Democrats who pander to the Will of Wall Street while leaving the American consumer and voter in the lurch. It should prove to be an intriguing and enlightening read, although I'm not certain Senator Clinton would enjoy it very much.

Well depends on the state. IL runs primary for both parties same day and which party you vote for- well we are not "registered".

You just ask for the party ballot you want. You can do whatver you want that day. I think we even have a general ballot if you do not choose EITHER (so you get all the other stuff on the ballot- like supporting school funding or muni bonds...).

The Dark Horse in this election will be Independents, and I can't wait to hear them sing on (Primary or Caucus) Election Night. CNN will probably be tone deaf, but everybody else will hear.

There are other ways to reach Republicans other than the Bill-O show. If you look at his total viewer size, it may be large based on other cable shows, but compared to the population it's nothing.

Bill-O's show is all about him and not his guests. He will do everything he can to argue and make Obama look stupid. He outshouts people when they don't agree, and when he feels himself loosing, he cuts their mic and sticks in a little barb and says "gotta go to commercial."

One other point. Republicans vary greatly in their views just like everyone else. Are the O'Reilly viewers even the ones worth reaching? I doubt many of his viewers would ever consider a democrat.

That's why I get upset with people who say this country will never elect a black man. Nonsense! Most anyone who won't vote for a minority, is probably not going to vote for ANY democrat.

Bill-O is best ignored, just like all bullies. Let's think of another way to reach Republicans other than submitting to that clown's program.

Friends, these numbers merely confirm what we have believed all along - that Barack Obama is the Democrat with the best chance to win this election and to bring the country together.
It's so plain, so obvious - which is exactly the Clinton acolytes in the corporate media elite won't discuss it.
As Michelle so well put, "I'm tired of being afraid". I'm also tired of the division in this country exploited by the media - as if they just relish the red meat of the fight and don't care one bit about whether anything gets done.
They want us to be divided, bitter, angry. But we won't stand for it. The American people will have their say - and they might not do what the pollsters and pundits want them to do.

The Clinton News Network again lived up to its name. Like so many of you, I have e-mailed them to protest their disgraceful handling of the debate. But I think we should do more - such as write to the Democratic National Committee, who sanctioned this debate, and protest Wolf's allowing the harassment of Obama and Edwards without even a word of reprimand. Booing (which, by the way, appeared to be orchestrated) clearly intimidated the two, and so helped Hillary. That kind of behavior has no place in civilized debates. Having Carville, a long-time Bill Clinton staffer, for the debate commentary was a shocking breach of objectivity. Also, we might send letters to the NY Times and Washington Post suggesting looking into suspicious doings in the way the attendees were screened and chosen, tickets distributed by the Nevada Democrtic Committee with ties to the Clintons, etc. None of this may do much good but it will make us feel better. Let's get fired up!

Obama could probably beat all of the Republican clowns except for Ron Paul. Ron Paul is like Michael Jordan, he is unbeatable in a general election. How do you beat a politician that has never made a compromise his whole life in this political climate?

Okay, I couldn't let the comment about Ron Paul go by.

Ron Paul has generated considerable buzz and has a loyal cadre of supporters, but I think he would be a disaster in the general election once some of his positions become more well-known.

Obama would win against any Republican, including Ron Paul.

Ron Paul may have never made a compromise in his political life, but he is certainly misguided on a lot of issues, such as pulling out of the UN. The UN surely has its problems, but pulling out will make the US look even more arrogant than it already does -- no mean feat!

Obama plans on pulling out of Iraq when? 2013? Ron Paul, yes will pull out of the UN as well as Korea, Irag, afganistan and Germany. The only true anti-war candidate is Ron Paul in either party. He is the only one that represents the American people as a whole. For christ sakes the Sex pistols are Ron Paul supporters. The best part is that we have been branded terrorists by Glenn Beck of CNN who said that the US military should be used to arrest Ron Paul supporters, even though the soldiers in Iraq give more to Ron Paul than any other candidate in either party. Ron Paul today as a result of the CNN slander has raised over $210,000. His next money bomb on Dec. 16th the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party will raise most likely in excess of 8 million.

The American people are hungry for character and integrity. Obama is a cousin of Dick Cheney, and he went to Harvard. Enough with this elitist crap, CFR, skull and bones or the Scroll and Key, (the harvard equivalent). Ron Paul stayed three years longer in Vietnam as a Surgeon, the guy is the real deal, I met him two months ago at his birthday party. There is not a pretension bone in his party.There is no real change with Obama, just changing seats on the Titanic. Is anyone watching what is happening with the dollar? The economy is crashing, the FDR new deal is done, kaput, finished. We have to go back to Gold or North American Union here we come.

He will have ALL of our combat troops home in 16 months--2 brigades per month, starting the day he is inaugerated--it is the only SAFE way for our troops.

Is anti-United Nations, and pushed for legislation to withdraw from the UN

Is anti-environmental protection, and believes that government has no role in dealing with climate change

Voted to keep a display of the Ten Commandments on a courthouse lawn

Sponsored and voted for mandatory public school, school prayer

Believes the government has no role in assisting or providing health insurance or health care

At last night’s Democratic presidential debate, the candidates faced questions on Pakistan, trade policy, and merit pay for teachers. So how did it come to pass that, at the close of the debate, Senator Hillary Clinton was asked what sort of jewelry she liked?

“Do you prefer diamonds or pearls?” Maria Luisa Parra-Sandoval, one of several audience members who posed questions, asked her.

“I want both,” Mrs. Clinton replied to laughter.

Last week, CNN had contacted Ms. Parra-Sandoval, a political science student at University of Las Vegas-Nevada, through a professor, and asked her to submit a question. She wrote one about health care for children. CNN rejected it, calling it too similar to another question that would be asked. So she sent another, about Iraq. That was rejected too. On Wednesday, a CNN producer asked her for two final questions, one substantive and one light. Ms. Parra-Sandoval sent one about Yucca Mountain, the Nevada site under consideration as a storage facility for radioactive waste. With the deadline approaching, she stared at her computer screen. Noticing the pearl-pattern background on her MySpace page, she dashed off the jewelry one.

CNN asked her to come to the debate with both questions memorized. Two hours in, a producer whispered that she should ask the second one.

“Because I was on national TV, I felt hesitant, but then I felt like, ‘Oh my God, I’m on national TV, I’ll just ask it,’” Ms. Parra-Sandoval said.

Now Ms. Parra-Sandoval is being accused, by everyone from bloggers to fellow students, of asking an airheaded, sexist question. On her MySpace page and in a phone interview, she protested that she tried to ask several substantive questions but that CNN would only let her participate through a silly one.

“The media should be more democratic and be better able to reflect our democratic process,” she said.

David Bohrman, Washington bureau chief and senior vice president of CNN, defended the network’s decision. “I thought it would be a nice way to end because we had had a couple of hours of tension,” he said, pointing out that Ms. Parra-Sandoval had written the question herself. “Not every question has to deal with life or death.”

It feels good to post my hometown board. There is an underlying theme in this race that many have not discussed, which is INTEGRITY. Obama never gave into the media's desperate attempt to make him attack HRC's character. He lays out differences in policy, which in far from "mud slinging". Barack is a genuine thinker who knows that it takes more than political punch lines to get us out of this debacle.
He has integrity, he is a thinker, he likes to reason with anyone regardless of their party, and he represents a person of integrity. As a business studnent at St. Johns in New York, we call this an inflection point for American politics. There has to be some kind of change from the inside out that will get us out this gridlock that the Bush administration has only tightened. Obama is the answer. The charisma, reasoning, pragmatism, and integrity that Obama has swill prove to any naysayers that he will be the candidate who leads this country out of this rut that GW has helped create.

I received an e-mail fundraising appeal from the Democratic Party.

I replied with the response below:

I am an independent who leans Democratic in Presidential races.

I have never donated money to a political campaign before donating to Barack Obama this year. I plan to be contributing more towards Barack's movement and will not have any left over for the Democratic party in general.

Lastly, I might as well take this opportunity to say that, although I voted for her husband twice, if the party is foolish enough to nominate Hillary Clinton, I will definitely not be making any more political donations for the foreseeable future.

When the nation gets to watch Barack vs. the Republican nominee they will be presented with a clear choice of change. It would not only be palpably visible, the discourse throughout the election would transform because Obama will respond right away to any SwiftBoating (especially on race) and bring the discussion about the issues and the future of our nation to a higher level that will inspire America after so much fear. His willingness to listen to everyone on both sides of the political spectrum, that he sees us all as Americans instead of Dems and Repubs, wanting to advance the country as a whole.

That would be a clear choice that Repubs and Independents alike would like to make, Clinton has too much baggage and it too polarizing and will not get through to anyone but Dems no matter how much she flips to placate to everyone. It's not her fault, she already got to be in the white house and she will only bring back old fights that will divide this country yet again.

I am disappointed with most of the post debate headlines (other people write those headlines)
Most of headlines imply Hillary Won.
Obama campaign has to expose some of the falsehoods.
Need to make headlines about questions being picked by CNN, especially the fraud about the Diamonds and Pearls. Articles didn't point out that booing candidates isn't allowed in debate. And by the way it was mostly Edwards who was bood and attacked by Hillary. Barack, IMO won all the counterattacks by Hillary, yet that's not reported.
Barack's performance was one of his best in the debates and it was the closest to his recent effective "stump" speeches. Yet most reviewers aren't giving Barack credit, just looking for negatives.
Tim Russert however, in Mat Lauer interview, said National Polls are meaningless and he did mention about the booing by Hillary supporters.

This weekend is chance to fight back by Barack continuing to Hit Hillary in clever ways (make joke about staging questions - refer to Diamonds or Pearls, etc.) He can refer in clever way to new Survey USA poll "Iowans believe I can win in 08". He must make headlines that put Hillary back on defense - especially on Social Security and possibly Healthcare, etc.

Barak's great showing at this stage aginst the range of Republican candidates make very clear the Media Bias toward Clinton. I've been a resident of Kenya since Goldwater lost to Johnson in 1964. At that time JFK's photo often hung next to that of Presidant Kenyatta. Obama has the sense and vision to rebuild the tarnished image of the USA all over the world by solving many of the problems that continue to embarass Americans. He understands better than any other candidate that US citizens must vote now (for Barak) to get our contritutional rights back in the hands of ordinary people.

I have just registered to vote here in Chandler, to help Barak against Mcain. Thats hope in action!
