Obama
Influential lawmakers in IA , NV , S.C and NH sent out letters to all democratic candidates and asked them not to campaign in states who broke the DNC rules by moving up their election date.
I believe Obama should agree to the pledge because those states and their surrogates clearly broke the rules and i'm hearing rumours that the Clinton backers are pushing this because having FL vote early gives Hillary a huge advantage.
Hillary holds a large lead in FL/MI and to catch up to her , Obama would have to burn a lot of cash in this expensive and huge state...Advantage Hillary.
Small states like S.C is much better for obama because it allows him to run his grassroot movement and reach out to a large % of he state small population.
in FL , it'll be almost impossible for a grassroot campaign to be efficient because the state is huge with millions of people
Hillary will never sign such pledge because she has a huge lead in MI/FL but she could anger those early states influential politicians and they could make her pay a price by endorsing Obama if he signs such pledge.
Obama could use the endorsement of Culvert , Harkin and Clayborn..All very important potential endorser.
If im Obama , i would sign this pledge if it meant getting the endorsement of those politicians.

His early-state strategy will definitely push him in that direction.

We are gearing up at Texas A&M. Can we be of assistance?
Our primary is in March. If you don't make sure Obama wins Iowa, we may not get a chance. You probably have seen polls from places like Texas that have Clinton ahead by a wide margin. NOT TRUE. In fact it is very close. Clinton is so tainted by the constant conservative chatter down here that many democrats (rightly or wrongly) will not support her. I have seen polls with Clinton 39% Obama 37% and Edwards 10% and then again I've seen polls with Edwards 40% Obama 21% Clinton 19%. It's very unclear here, except for one thing - Clinton in no way is going to run away with things in Texas. Obama has a huge following and enthusiastic support.
Our site is not up yet. But you can send me a note if you need any help from us...
Every vote you get for Obama is important to me, my vote might not matter in March. Every person that is too busy to pay attention to the primary race right now probably could be convinced to compare the candidates issues pages on the campaign web sites. They can judge the candidates for themselves and make their own decision. Every time that happens it provides an advantage for Obama. He is clearly the best candidate on the issues.
YOU CAN DO IT! We want to help.
