As an American I want so desperately to have a leader for our country that will actually care about the way we take care of our own in this country. I know God has blessed America to be a blesser to the nations...but what about the citizens who live here who can't get decent housing. It seems as though a decent roof over ones head is a privilege when it should be a human right. Why are there not more true housing programs to eradicate homelessness? I stay up at night wondering is there a person or persons who care enough about us citizens to mandate legislature to stop the blood letting of foreclosure! I stay up at night wondering why my husband and i can't get a good health care plan that focuses on preventive health care and doctor's visits to keep us and our children out of surgery to correct a neglected body because of the high cost of health insurance that has very little, real coverage for important health screenings and tests. We as Americans and especially our leaders and politicians who have everything they need, take it too lightly the extreme human suffrage that goes on. Yes we at home are not dying in the streets like they are over in Iraq and Afghanistan...but we are slowly slowly dying because of extreme economic imbalance, education, poverty and lack. I stay up at night because i don't understand why in America, rich, with brilliant minds, why no one can come up with real solutions and then why when someone like Barack Obama comes along scores of people are almost too numb from life to hear his voice. I'm wondering...do you still have a dream of a brighter future or have you just stopped because the negative voices are so loud. Refuse now to stop dreaming and never stop what you're doing for your generation and generations to come.
Peace & Blessings to all.

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting..." Barack H. Obama
I believe whom ever becomes President will have to deal with what is already set in motion. That person may not be able to quickly make things better but their demeanor, strength and judgement in those times will get us through it so that we can see, say and have a better future...and that person who has those qualities, I clearly see is in the man Barack Obama. His speech today was remarkable and historical. as they say in church ...and you shall know them by the fruit they bare
I say Rev. Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago bore some bountiful fruit in Barack Hussein Obama...which means in Hebrew "Blessed, Handsome One" America! we are not watching a lifetime horror movie where the handsome man becomes a monster after we let him in the door...we are smack dab in the middle of great American history. Some folks may want to take off the 3-D horror vision glasses and switch to Full Screen.
Today Barack went back to the future so we could envision our future.
The beginning of Barack's speech was so profound and historic...... “We the people, in order to form a more perfect union.” Two hundred and twenty one years ago, in a hall that still stands across the street, a group of men gathered and, with these simple words, launched America’s improbable experiment in democracy. Farmers and scholars; statesmen and patriots who had traveled across an ocean to escape tyranny and persecution finally made real their declaration of independence at a Philadelphia convention that lasted through the spring of 1787. The document they produced was eventually signed but ultimately unfinished. "YES WE CAN"
Certainly others will run after their dreams to be President of the United States of America...but this dream belongs to Senator Barack Obama and you.
Now is not the time to close our mouths or sit down.
Make sure our neighborhood Obama Supporters are with us at the caucus.
Barack ObamaHarvard Law Graduate - President of the Harvard Law Review, a prestigious Harvard law periodical. After college, civil rights attorney, Constitutional Law university lecturer, then on to becoming a U.S. Senator out of seemingly no where. Yet it wasn't out of no where. No one gets elected into public office without being a real part of the community.http://obama.senate....
Hillary Clinton Graduated from Yale Law School, moved to Arkansas and married Bill Clinton. Beacame a partner at a Law Firm, was active in organizations concerned with the welfare of children and joined the board of Walmart….Elected as N.Y./U.S. Senator after living in the Whitehouse for 8 years as 1st Lady.http://www.whitehous...http://clinton.senat...
(for comparison purposes)Bill ClintonClinton earned a bachelor's degree in international affairs from Georgetown University in 1968, and he subsequently attended Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship (?). After earning a law degree from Yale University in 1973, he returned to his home state and taught law at the University of Arkansas. In 1972, Clinton directed the Texas campaign of Democratic presidential nominee George S. McGovern. He managed Georgia Democratic Governor Jimmy Carter's successful presidential run in Arkansas in 1976. (He of course went on to get the job as President of the U.S.)http://www.zpub.com/...
During President Bill Clinton's 1999 impeachment trial in the Senate, Edwards was responsible for the deposition of witnesses Monica Lewinsky and fellow Democrat Vernon Jordan.

He then attended Syracuse University College of Law, graduated in 1968, and was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 1969.He was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972.Since 1991, Biden has also served as an adjunct professor at the Widener University School of Law, where he teaches a seminar on constitutional law.
Side BarAfter doing a hours of research it is clear to me that Hillary Clinton was hand picked to represent the Democartic Party as a viable canidate after John Kerry and us Dems suffered a devasting loss to George Bush in 2004. Barack Obama emerged on the scene when asked to deliver a keynote speech to the Democratic National Convention that same year. After that speech the nation and the world was introduced to Barack Obama. That speech was a defining moment in not only Barack's life but it begins a definining moment in United States history.
THINGS TO MAKE YOU GO HMMMMM.
OUT OF ALL THE CANDIDATES HILLARY HAS THE WEAKEST RESUME IN MY OPINION.
OBAMA'S IS THE STRONGEST AND MOST DIVERSE RESUME AND SIMILAR TO BILL CLINTONS.

Why are housing developers able to come into a city like Las Vegas and ravage it? I stay up at night wondering is there a person or persons who care enough about us citizens to see this activity and mandate legislature to stop the blood letting of foreclosure! I'm wondering if there is a person who is electable right now to give us some real solutions. I'm wondering too if God will just shine on America right now and give us a President that will seek to honest and take care of the American people so that we too can benefit from a blessed land. BARACK OBAMA IS MY VOICEBarack Obama is my voice in this season! Some of us do not wish to be stuck with someone who is not going to say what we want to say if we ourselves had the world's stage and do what needs to be done for this country and even mankind.
Other politicians have a self serving agenda. I believe Barack wants to serve our needs as Americans!
George Bush has taken the masterpiece that was America and defaced it!
Hillary can't fix it, won't fix it, does not even know where to begin to fix it...she's no Bill Clinton! she's Bush and Cheney Lite! like our guy says... he should know...he's worked beside her for the passed 2-3 years now.
I do not want leftovers and old promises from the past for the next four years...i want a fresh meal and a new beginning and a new day with Barack Obama! Turn the page in order to see the big picture! This election can be even bigger than America...It could mean a lot to the Planet!
BEWARE SOLDIERS!DIRTY LITTLE TRICKShttp://www.gopdirtytricks.blogspot.com/
Basic Republican Strategy:
- Demoralize the Democratic base with phony press releases and whisper campaigns. - Attack opponents strength with character assassination. - Suppress the vote in every possible way. - Buy some people off with tax cuts. (free lunch) - Scare the rest into voting against their own interests.
What inspires me about Barack is his ability to break out of the current pattern of politician in Washington and identify himself with the commonalities among people who are positive world leaders and changers like, Martin Luther King Jr., Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. He is a leader for change in the way we should look at one another. Barack promotes that our focus should not be on our differences but what makes us common in our desires, like fair employment, peace seeking foreign policy initiatives, fair small business initiatives, housing, healthcare options and education.
Please comment this post and tell me what inspires you about Barack Obama.
I HAVE A DREAM 4 OBAMA & AMERICA
I had a dream that Barack Obama was President of the United States. He designed a plan for our troops to come home. The troops hugged the Iraqi people goodbye, everyone was crying like it was the end of summer camp. The troops got in the humvees and helicopters, ships and airplanes and came home...when they got home...there was a huge parade...steller healthcare, jobs and housing waiting for them...No Hero lacked anything they had NEED of. Later the President designed another plan where the USA sent care packages of books, videos and well done media explaining democracy and its benefits for community and structure...Some of the books and videos got shot up...but nobody died! Then willing delegates of Iraqi leaders who desired a free Iraq were invited to come to America and study the american way of democracy so they could go back and effectively implement a genuinely free but Iraqi way of life.
That's my dream and i'm sticking to it
In light of the dumb mistake issue (see blog post) lets talk about the Polls! which say that Hillary is in a double digit lead over our guy. Well this tells me a few things. One lets not assume that because we know about this candidate and have such passion about him that everybody else does too. Obviously we have a trendous amount of work to do regarding getting the word out about Barack Obama. Don't let the media dictate the publics perception regarding Barack, which to me is often times unfavorable! As a volunteer I intend to go into every corner of life possible to let people know about this man Barack Obama. I am planning to create one event in my community each month to get the word out in my community that there is a great candidate for president by the name Barack Obama. Obviously if people had a chance to meet him through our efforts they would more than likely choose him over Hillary or any of the other candidates.
So my brothers and sisters, lets be clear! more people need to know who Barack is. And its going to take each and everyone of us who so despertely want a man like Barack in office to get the word out. Leave campaign materials at your local Library, local Veterans office or health clinic, places where people are held hostage for hours like the local DMV or SSN office.... Do this man a great service and get the word out. Leave materials at your Doctor's office or dentist office your child's summer camp or day care office.
MORE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHO BARACK IS! CANVAS! CANVAS! CANVAS!
By Faith we dwell in the land of Promise...
~Heb. 11:9~
Carolyn Essex "We're really very interested and excited by the language of Obama's campaign. There seem to be good core principles but a willingness to talk with everybody and keep an open mind," Jonathan Davis said.
By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as [in] a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; Hbr 11:9
In 2004 I remember flicking my remote to a program. A young black man was speaking very passionately and eloquently about the injustices of a country that is well able to take care of its own, protect its own and earn respect from around the world. The hope of a united state of America. Ever since then he has been my president. I have moved on, I have turned the page and I am living in the future. It's not going to be easy. It's going to take each and everyone of us to do everything in our power, in our own sphere of influence to get our man in the office. I do believe in prayer. I do believe when we believe that God will give us what we need we can receive just that. Well i believe this country and the world has need of this man Barack Obama. The word of God says that He already knows what we have need of before we even ask.Mat.6:8 Do we not need someone like Barack Obama?
By faith we dwell in the land of promise...
